Important Information Regarding COVID-19

This message is for Caregivers of DON Services:  If you or any individual for whom you are providing care are showing symptoms related to COVID-19 (such as fever, cough or shortness of breath), or have been potentially exposed to someone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, please immediately contact your DON office.  If it is after normal business hours, please contact the after hours on call line and report.

This message is for Consumers of DON Services:  If you are showing symptoms related to COVID-19 (such as fever, cough or shortness of breath), or have been potentially exposed to someone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, please immediately contact your DON office.  If it is after normal business hours, please contact the after hours on call line and report.  You should contact your PCP (doctor) and discuss options for getting tested for the COVID-19 virus.  DON Services will assist in getting you all the support you need related to COVID-19.  If you want your caregivers to have any Personal Protective Equipment, such as mask, gowns and other protective equipment you must ask you Service Coordinator from your MCO to provide these extra DME materials.  Please contact DON Services for any assistance with this process.

DON Services goal is to provide you all of your authorized hours, except when requested directly by you or consumer’s representatives.  DON Services has some flexibility to ensure crucial, life-sustaining services and if necessary, delay less crucial services such as laundry and linen changes.  The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has asked than all non-essential travel be limited.  Please remain at home and limit all unnecessary travel.
