DON Connect
Disability Option Network, the Center for Independent Living is offering an innovative virtual platform to help consumers to better connect with the community and improve health and well-being along the way. DON Connect was created in Summer 2022 an an outreach project using community health expansion funding from the Administration on Community Living.
DON Connect’s mission is to improve the health and wellness of people and communities both virtually and in person.
The program focuses on the dimensions of wellness to include emotional well-being, social connections, financial education, environmental awareness, spiritual understanding , physical health, occupational interests and intellectual engagement.
By working with other partners and individual’s DON Connect is creating a virtual library of content that consumers can access simply through a smart device with WiFi access and a QR code. The program will continue to grow and expand working towards connect at events in the community around shared interests for all. Checkit out at
