DON Services
DON Services is a licensed home care agency that provides in-home, non-medical care and other approved support services to individuals who choose to live in their home or community setting rather than in a nursing facility. These services are provided by personal care attendants who focus on assisting individuals with daily tasks that will allow them to remain independent and at home. Services may include medication reminders, assistance with personal hygiene, light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry assistance and other support to you or your loved one.
Founded in 2005, DON is licensed to provide care in 27 counties with concentration across four office locations: New Castle serving Lawrence, Beaver, Butler and Mercer Counties, Donora serving Washington, Greene and Fayette Counties, Greensburg serving Westmoreland Counties and Penn Hills serving Allegheny and Armstrong Counties.
How Can DON Services Help?
DON Services provides personal assistant services (PAS) under OLTL and ODP waivers, community integration, respite, employment services, nursing home transition and assistance with enrolling in the Medical Waiver program and navigating the complex and confusing service system. DON Services also provides services under various other programs including Area Agency programs; Veteran Administration and through private pay insurance.
Direct Support Services for those under the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD Waivers) are also provided and include companion care; home and community based services to assist in maintaining quality of life and well-being while promoting an independent lifestyle with dignity.
Additional Services include: Nursing Home Transition, Employment and Enrollment Services provided in all 27 Western Pennsylvania Counties, which include: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawrence, Mercer, Westmoreland.
